Privacy notice

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive:

• your name and email address
• your phone number and postcode, if you give them
• the service you are asking about, and your message

Our hosting also records your IP address and the time of the request, which we use to stop the form being abused, for example by limiting how many enquiries one address can send in an hour. We do not collect anything else.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit if you want one, and give you a quote. We send you one automatic email to confirm your enquiry arrived. We do not add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries people send us, and taking steps you ask for before entering into a contract, such as visiting and quoting.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for their own use. These companies handle them on our behalf so the website and its emails work:

• Business Sorted Kent, our web provider. A copy of each enquiry is sent to them so they can keep the form working and put right any problem with it.
• Vercel, which hosts this website. The website and the contact form are processed on its servers in London. Pages are delivered through Vercel's network from the location nearest you, which in the UK is also London.
• Resend, which delivers the emails the form sends, from its servers in Ireland, in the EU.
• Google, through Google Workspace, which provides the email inboxes the enquiry is delivered to.

Vercel, Resend and Google are US companies. Google Workspace may store and process email outside the UK and EU, including in the United States, and all three may access data from the US to run and support their services. Where that happens, it is covered by their standard data protection terms for international transfers.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and the font is served from this site rather than from Google.

The WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram links take you to those services. What they collect once you are there is covered by their own privacy policies, not this one.

How long we keep it

Only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it, such as quoting, carrying out the job and keeping the records the law requires of a business. After that we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the details we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your details
• stop using your details, if you object to how we are using them
